Came down on a Friday for a wedding the following day, didn’t arrive till later in the eve. Will was amazing from start to finish, I was flustered by the time we arrived and he was so welcoming and friendly nothing was too much trouble. We impulsively decided to stay the Saturday too, he went above and beyond to get us a room sorted and made the whole experience so relaxing. He is a credit to the team! Also a BIG thankyou to the rest of the team.

My partner and I enjoyed a relaxing signature spa day at Dunston Hall and really enjoyed our visit. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The pool and leisure facilities are excellent. We both had an amazing massage with Caroline and felt very relaxed and rested at the end of our visit. We would definitely recommend and will book again in the future.

Great hotel, close to park and ride which is handy! Wouldn’t call it a 4-star hotel though as it was a bit tired. Lovely breakfast and hotel staff, would visit again.

Had a nice relaxing spa break in pleasant surroundings. Some issues experienced along the way - no robes in the room on arrival, no bottle opener to open the drinks in the mini bar, and no door stop to keep open door to connecting suite room. Biggest issue was room service breakfast that didn’t arrive on time, was even an hour late after chasing three times, tea was spilt all over the tray and no cutlery or condiments initially provided. However, this was later compensated for with a bottle of champagne at dinner and a late checkout. Finally, the property - facilities and decor - is looking tired, but is clean and tidy.

Great hotel, lovely experience. Staff all very helpful at all times. Breakfast amazing. Good value for money. My grandson and I enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Very clean. Beautiful pool.

Had a great experience in the Spa at the Dunston Hall today during our stay. I have not stayed at a hotel with golf and a spa. So as a treat we both had a massage. I had a deep tissue massage before and it was excellent. Thank you Melissa.

A lovely back massage, made me feel very comfortable. The scrub was great and left my back feeling very clean. The facial was excellent and I was left with a list of all the products. The head massage was a great end and I was very relaxed. Thank you Melissa

Visited for an overnight spa break. Hotel and staff are lovely. We both had an amazing treatment (face and back ritual) from Claudia and Sarah who were both fantastic. Lunch and breakfast were lovely and we had a nice room. Rated 4. Dinner the starters were lovely but main courses were not great at all to be honest. Also disappointing that you can’t use the health centre outside of check in (3pm)/check out (11am) times as other spa break hotels allow this. We ended up paying £30 for early check in so that we could have a longer day. Other than that was a nice relaxing 1 night break

Excellent overnight dinner, bed and breakfast stay on the winter offer prices. We come for the excellent standard of the food. Great dinner choices, high quality ingredients cooked and presented well. Buffet breakfast is fabulous, great choice suits us both. Ideal stop over for us twixt home and a week away elsewhere. Starts the holiday off really well. Sadly the increase in ‘general’ stays without an offer is now too high for us more frequently, although we would love to!

Had a weekend stay at Dunston Hall Had excellent service at lunch in the bar from Alex. During this time he had to deal with 2 very rude guests. One who had made a mess under a table with wrapping paper and told him to get a bucket and had him under the table cleaning their mess! The other spilt a drink and and just ordered him to clean it up and get him another! He dealt with it very professional and calmly. I do know this is part of his job but he did it very well. Obviously also had very good training for these types of incident. Had excellent service from start to finish on our stay. P.S. Second time we had fish and chip which were epic

I recently spent a spa weekend at Dunston Hall Hotel and it was an absolutely relaxing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and the staff went out of their way to make everything easy and enjoyable. The highlight of the weekend was the back massage by therapist Melissa leaving me feeling completely refreshed and relaxed. The food throughout my stay was another high point. From breakfast to dinner, everything was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The variety and quality were outstanding, and it really added to the sense of indulgence. Overall, Dunston Hall delivered a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and excellent service. I left feeling rejuvenated and already planning my next visit!

Room was clean and spacious. Staff were all polite , helpful and friendly. Food was very good 10/10 Spa treatments were excellent.

Been coming to Dunston Hall for many many years always have an enjoyable time,must admit did have a little hiccup with our room,the second day,however it was sorted and we was very well looked after,the housekeeping managerss took the time to come and find us which was very much appreciated that was a lovely touch and showed she really cared,we must say the reception team was lovely as usual and nothing was to much trouble, the food was delicious evening meals and breakfast,I must make a special thank you to Connor a very polite young man and asked not just our table but every table he served if everything was ok nice to see the good old fashioned touch is still going strong,Jane as usual was her normal caring self once again very much appreciated,our last thank you to Will on reception he always has a smile on his face and as he is the first customer facing staff member always going out of his way to make sure you have a lovely welcome once again very much appreciated,last thing thank you for making my 70th Birthday special thank you and looking forward to coming back to Dunston Hall again please keep up the good work thanks Robin and Kathy

Stayed in a Manor Suite for my wife’s birthday. It was a stunning unique room, complimentary drinks and great views. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and the service was second to none. The Spa was great, clean, larger than many and luxurious. Definitely the best we’ve stayed in.

From the long driveway lined with trees you see Dunston hall which is stunning, on arrival at reception Melissa gave us a fantastic welcome and explained about the hotel and all its facilities. do you have the brasserie bar and restaurant plus you have a small bar all places to eat. The breakfast in the morning is in the brasserie bar and it was an amazing buffet of all that you could eat and had a menu if you needed anything special. The hotel has a golf course plus swimming pool and spa. I’ve booked this hotel for a special birthday present for my wife’s big birthday and I was not disappointed nor was my wife the staff are absolutely lovely helpful friendly and so professional this will be a must return in the future. Big thank you to all at Dunston making our visit very special.

We had an amazing time, Rishal on the front desk was fantastic and really looked after us. We had a lovley meal in the evening our waiter Luis was very polite and good help more if he tried. Overall 10/10 from us and look forward to visiting again.
